Scrap that song - September Challenge
Well here we are another month and another challenge at http://scrapthatsong.blogspot.com/, where has the time gone??? For those who don't know how it works, the amazing design team (one of them is moi) pick a song, do their interpretation of the song ie lyrics, title etc so that hopefully we can inspire you all to play along.
My song for September is John Denver's "Sunshine on my shoulders". I chose the lyrics -Sunshine on the water looks so lovely - as it was absolutely perfect for this amazing sunset photo taken in Fiji on the last night of our holiday there.
I struggled a bit with this page as I always find it a challenge to scrap pics of places, seems to take a while to get the head around it and would have taken longer if it hadn't been for my other two DT members Mary and Kim and the awesome help that they gave when we scrapped together last weekend. The words "You are very high maintence today" were used quite a lot.
Some yummies used (film strip and foam heart) from the September Embellishment Me Subscription Kit Club @ http://www.my2angels.net/index.html and the handmade rustic lollipop was from a Pay It Forward from the very generous Wendy McLaren (The Boxx), just perfect for the page, as well as some bits and pieces from the girls - (yes Mary I used muslin) and also used canvas paper and typed the lyrics on it and the same paper again for the journalling.
