HAPPY AUSTRALIA DAY

Image
I hope that you all have a great Australia Day, with the heat that we will be having I plan to stay inside with my airconditioner and do some scrapping. This page I finished just before midnight last night for the January Sketch Challenge on the Boxx. Jo Tritton (last on right) and her sister drove over from Mudgee for the day just before Christmas which gave Kim, Mary and I the chance to meet her in real life. We had a really lovely lunch at Anything Grows and then took a short walk to Cook Park for a photo shoot. The time just went too quick. I have used some yummy Prima, Pink Paisley and Kaiser pps, gorgeous new Kaiser Paper Blooms, Craft Queen ribbon from the January Ribbon Club and Cosmo Cricket alphas. COOK PARK On Sunday after a really yummy lunch at the Mountain Tea House, Richard and I went for a stroll around the park which is something that we like to do on a semi regular basis, I always take my camera as the park is always changing. Awesome day of scrapping

Had the best day yesterday scrapping with Mary, Kim and Robyn at my place. We had a great and very healthy lunch and then enjoyed some retail therapy at the home of the Craft Queen aka Nicole. She has an awesome range and it was lethal to the purse to see it up so close. Did a page for the January challenge at the Boxx of my son Shaun on his front day of kindergarten, he was five and a half and so excited. As most Mums do I have kept quite a lot of his school stuff and found this little gem, it is a picture that he draw on his first day in Kindergarten. I copied it, resized, cut the wording off the bottom that the teacher wrote and then added it to the page where it fitted on so nicely. The gorgeous apple and clouds were sent to me by a lovely lady Sue Schultz and are from the Chip Chop Shop. The kite was from the fantastic Leanne Jago. I also up loaded this page to the Boxx, had done it previously but the pic was pretty ordinary. This is me when I was about two and a half months old....

Finally after six and a half years

I adore carnations and in the six and a half years that we have been together Richard has given me some stunning bunches of flowers but never my fav. He totally shocked me and bought me to tears on Xmas Eve by giving me the most gorgeous bunch I have ever seen. I took a few pics of the blooms to remind myself that he is a truly lovely man.
