And I am all alone
There is no one here beside me
And my problems have all gone
There is no one to deride me

But you got to have friends

The feeling's oh so strong
You go to have friends
To make that day last long
I had some friends but their gone
Someone came and took them away
And from the dusk till the dawn
Here is where I'll stay

Standing at the end of the road, boys

Waiting for my new friends to come
I don't care if I'm hungry or bored
I'm gonna get me some of them

Cause you got to have friends

La la la la la la la la la
Friends, I said you,
Oh you, yeah you, I said
You got to have some Friends
Something about friends
Just right friends
Friends, friends, friends

I had some friends oh but they're all gone, gone

Someone came and snatched them away
And from the dusk until the very dawn
You know here is where I gotta stay
Here is where I gotta stay
And I'm standing at the end of a real long road
And I'm waiting for my new friends to come
I don't care if I'm hungry or freezing cold
I'm gonna get me some of them

Cause you got to have friends

That's right friends
Friends,?.I gotta see my, I gotta see my
I gotta see all of my friends, friends
Friends, friends, friends

These are the lyrics to the Bette Midler song "You got to have friends" and is my choice for the October song Challenge at Scrap that Song  I was kind of singing the chorus in my head as I was scrapping these pics of the gorgeous Mary and the lovely Kim but until I read the lyrics I never realise that it was a bit of a sad song. Oh well, take what you want and leave the rest, that's how it works doesn't it?
So without further ado here is my page honoring these two amazing women who are such an important part of my life.

Used lots of yumminess on this page, starting with the pp which is from the Mariposa Stack - DCWV, butterflies punched out of pp from the Prima Madeline A4 stack, Kaiser Paper Bloom, hand made twirl flowers, Websters netting (just gorgeous) and alphas (coloured ones), random small paper roses (local craft shop), small chippie bird cage (bought this at the Brissy expo but can't remember which stand), Prima alphas, ribbon from the lovely Jo Tritton and thanks to the sweet Cheryl O'Brien for letting me play with her Cricut (so want one now). The quote was from A little book of friendship and just the perfect size.
All up I really love the page except not too sure of the alphas on Mares' pic, oh well they are there now.
Anyhoo thanks for stopping by and having a peek, hugs and love to all xo

Yummy Kaiser range

Had a lot of fun scrapping with the gorgeous Mary yesterday and got two layouts done. One I can post now the other will have to be a secret, but watch out for the latest at
awesome new challenges coming up so soon.

Back in the day, they took pics of your new bub on crinkly paper, pink girls, blue boys, a really bright blue in this case, so I made the pic b&w and then, quite shamelessly scraplifted the very talented Karen Shady. I totally loved her baby page using the same Kaiser range and it was all so perfect for this pic.
Used - Kaiser lullaby pp, diecuts and flowers. Bella! chipboard alphas ,stunning flourish from the October "Embellish Me" kit at   handmade gingham button (i am getting very clever you know), muslin from Miss Mary (she has a real thing for it atm), gorgeous Prima Shabby Chic resin bird, Craft Queen ribbon and the metal embellie at the side was on the original page I did of this pic (many many moons ago) plus Martha Stewart and Fiskars punches.
Thanks for stopping by, hugs and love xo
