Image
Well here we are in Novemember already and December breathing down our necks, where has the year gone. Over at Scrapthatsong  http://scrapthatsong.blogspot.com/ the new challenges are up and there is such an amazing selection that I am sure you will have no problems in finding something to inspire you. My song choice is the Tom Jones song "What's New Pussycat" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VBdSqk78nHw . Now I have to admit that this is not one of my favs of Tom, but the lyrics are just so perfect for this gorgeous pic of our kitten Lotus. "What's New Pussycat" What's new pussycat? Woah, Woah What's new pussycat? Woah, Woah Pussycat, Pussycat I've got flowers And lots of hours To spend with you. So go and powder your cute little pussycat nose! Pussycat, Pussycat I love you Yes, I do! You and your pussycat nose! What's new pussycat? Woah, Woah What's new pussycat? Woah, Woah Pussycat, Pussycat You're so thrilling ...

And I am all alone There is no one here beside me And my problems have all gone There is no one to deride me But you got to have friends The feeling's oh so strong You go to have friends To make that day last long I had some friends but their gone Someone came and took them away And from the dusk till the dawn Here is where I'll stay Standing at the end of the road, boys Waiting for my new friends to come I don't care if I'm hungry or bored I'm gonna get me some of them Cause you got to have friends La la la la la la la la la Friends, I said you, Oh you, yeah you, I said You got to have some Friends Something about friends Just right friends Friends, friends, friends I had some friends oh but they're all gone, gone Someone came and snatched them away And from the dusk until the very dawn You know here is where I gotta stay Here is where I gotta stay And I'm standing at the end of a real long road And I'm waiting for ...

Back in the day, they took pics of your new bub on crinkly paper, pink girls, blue boys, a really bright blue in this case, so I made the pic b&w and then, quite shamelessly scraplifted the very talented Karen Shady. Bella! chipboard alphas ,stunning flourish from the October "Embellish Me" kit at http://www.my2angels.net/c/276/Embellish-Me-Subscription-Kit-Club.html   handmade gingham button (i am getting very clever you know), muslin from Miss Mary (she has a real thing for it atm), gorgeous Prima Shabby Chic resin bird, Craft Queen ribbon and the metal embellie at the side...

SCRAPPY SATURDAY WITH COMPANY

Image
I am so fortunate to have two really awesome ladies, Mary and Kim as my dearest friends, and incredibly lucky that we have the opportunity to get together every second Saturday to scrap.  This Saturday was fantastic as we had the lovely Cheryl (Cootamundra) and the gorgeous Jo (Mudgee) both travel to join us all for the day. We all had so much fun, scrapping, chatting, playing with the great toys that Jo (bigshot) well looked at Jo's didn't really play, but will next time and Cheryl (cricut) did have a play with it (can see a wish list happening here)   And then of course there was lunch, chicken, tossed salad (with a yummy handmade dressing by Mary) and crusty french stick, but the thing that we were all waiting for was Kims Famous PAV and boy was the wait worth, it think she excelled hereself this this. And if the look on Jo's face was anything to go by, yes, it tasted as good as it looked, I still have one piece left for afternoon tea today. Yummo!!!! Then u...
