I am so fortunate to have two really awesome ladies, Mary and Kim as my dearest friends, and incredibly lucky that we have the opportunity to get together every second Saturday to scrap. This Saturday was fantastic as we had the lovely Cheryl (Cootamundra) and the gorgeous Jo (Mudgee) both travel to join us all for the day. We all had so much fun, scrapping, chatting, playing with the great toys that Jo (bigshot) well looked at Jo's didn't really play, but will next time and Cheryl (cricut) did have a play with it (can see a wish list happening here) And then of course there was lunch, chicken, tossed salad (with a yummy handmade dressing by Mary) and crusty french stick, but the thing that we were all waiting for was Kims Famous PAV and boy was the wait worth, it think she excelled hereself this this. And if the look on Jo's face was anything to go by, yes, it tasted as good as it looked, I still have one piece left for afternoon tea today. Yummo!!!! Then u...
So the second challenge I did a layout for is the October 15th Challenge at Stuck?! Sketches, October 15th Challenge . Really liked the Sketch for this Challenge It was perfect for this last picture of my beautiful dog Wombat who crossed over the rainbow bridge on the 22nd September this year. He was not quite 17 and was the most gentle, loving and incredible dog that I have had the privilege of being part of our lives. Unfortunately his arthritis became that bad a decision had to be made. He took a piece of my heart with him and he will never be forgotten. For this page I used some old 7 dots studio Lost and Found paper, washi tape, jute ribbon and lots of bits and pieces from my stash. Cheers all Annette
Just wanted to share a couple of recent layouts I have done, the first is for the current challenge at http:// www.orangepaperieandco.blogspot .com.au/2013/11/ some-more-layouts-from-dt-to-in spire-you.html where the lovely Jo has a sketch with the added criteria of fussy cutting and using die cuts. I used this stunning pic of my friend Susan Walters gorgeous little granddaughter Bella for my page. I gave the page to Sue as a gift and didn't expect the reaction I got, she was quite overwhelmed, made the work I put into this so worthwhile. A bit of a closie showing the gorgeous flower which I did mutilate by pulling apart, oh dear The second is so precious to me, it is my amazing cousin Sandra Nuttall with her new son Everett, who came into this world a bit too early and fought very hard to stay, thankfully a battle he won, the look of love and wonder on her face as she watches him sleep leaves me speechless. The page with Sandra...
